Daniel Ponce and his team, especially my guide Pedro, provided the perfect day for me in Sintra. Pedro knew just how to time our day to manage weather, crowds and comfort. Pedro is passionate about sharing the history of Sintra and is also very knowledgeable about the land, flora and fauna. We had the best time! I had many questions before I confirmed the tour and each was answered fully with patience and kindness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the Best Tour Experience in Portugal Our all-inclusive Sintra tour with Daniel Ponce of Yes, You Deserve Tours was hands-down the best travel experience we’ve ever had. From our first video chat months before the trip, Daniel crafted a personalized itinerary that made everything seamless. Meeting him felt like meeting a close friend….he’s warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. Sintra and Cascais felt like a real-life fairy tale, and Daniel showed us hidden spots, history, and viewpoints we never would’ve found on our own. The private lunch, wine tasting, and crowd-avoiding strategies made the day feel exclusive and special. We’re so glad we booked the Tuk Tuk tour despite mixed opinions online…this is NOT your typical Tuk Tuk experience. Daniel is a true local, and his team members are all just as amazing. He also took beautiful, professional-quality photos of us throughout the day, which was such a bonus. We were honestly upset we didn’t book multiple days because another tour we did in Lisbon with a random company wasn’t even close in quality. If you’re visiting Portugal, please do yourself a favor and book with Daniel. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back and tour with him again! Yes, You Deserve! did not disappoint!!! This was an absolute highlight of our Portugal holiday!  Daniel is a wealth of knowledge sharing historical information throughout the day as well as many very funny, interesting stories!! Our full-day, all-inclusive Sintra tour was exceptional from start to finish and truly showcased the quality and professionalism of this company. Every detail was handled seamlessly—from the private transfer (a special thanks to Maycon for the smooth and comfortable ride) to the thoughtfully planned visits to Sintra’s palaces, monuments, and the beautiful coastline of Cascais. What truly elevated this experience, however, was the outstanding level of service. Our guide, Vera, was phenomenal; warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought each site to life with stories and insights that made the history feel vivid and memorable, all while tailoring the pace perfectly to our preferences and answering every question with enthusiasm. The company’s attention to creating a personalized, stress-free experience really stood out. One of the highlights was trusting the team’s recommendation for lunch. We dined at Restaurante Central, which was fantastic and added an authentic local touch to the day. After lunch, we enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting at Mare et Corvus with Anna, which was a memorable and personal experience, especially getting the chance to meet her mother, Barbara. It was a unique and welcoming touch that made the day even more special. Vera was our guide on the all-inclusive tuk-tuk trip to Sintra and Cascais. I cannot say enough about this experience. Transportation to the meeting site was seamless. Vera met us and we were off. We asked her 10,000 questions about everything. Everything. She was so knowledgeable and personable. It was the highlight of our trip. We recently visited Portugal and had a full day tour of Sintra and ending in Cascais. Daniel was alreafy booked for the day, so he paired us with Ana Julia. We had a great day with Ana Julia, despite a little rain. She was great & very personable! We had the most amazing day exploring Sintra and Cascais with Daniel, and it honestly turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip to Portugal. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, engaging, and full of personal touches that made it feel so much more special than a typical guided tour. Daniel’s passion for the region really shines through in everything he does. He shared fascinating stories and local legends about Sintra’s history, architecture, and culture that brought the area to life. Every stop felt carefully chosen — from the breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the coastline to the charming cobblestone streets and colorful palaces. It was clear that Daniel knows the area inside and out and loves showing people its hidden gems. One of the best parts of the day was the food! Daniel introduced us to some amazing local pastries that we never would have found on our own. Each one had its own story, and they were absolutely delicious. Later, he took us to a small, family-run restaurant for lunch, far away from the tourist crowds. We dined alongside locals and enjoyed the freshest, most flavorful meal of our trip. It truly felt like we were getting a glimpse into authentic Portuguese life. Beyond the incredible sights and food, what made the day truly exceptional was Daniel himself. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about giving his guests the best experience possible. His enthusiasm was infectious — by the end of the day, we felt like we were traveling with a good friend. If you’re visiting Portugal, do not miss this tour. We had a phenomenal day with Pedro! The car pick-up from our hotel was on time (early actually). We followed-up their Yes, You Deserve!’s recommendation to get breakfast at Casa do Preto which was fantastic as well. Pedro took us around to Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira in the tuk-tuk. He really made sure that we were comfortable and the day was enjoyable throughout. He provided blankets when needed in the cooler part of the mountain, waters, and even had a surprise phone charger available when my phone ran low on battery from taking photos all day. My wife and I had my 7-year old son with us and 70-year old parents, and Pedro was extra accommodating making sure the walking point were more walkable for us. He totally went at our pace with no rushing (however it was clear he was managing our time throughout the day). The stops at Pena and Quinta far exceeded all of our expectations. Pedro’s knowledge of the places, story telling and ability to point out the details really made the history and magic come alive. He knew all the best spots and times to grab photos so we were able to get many family photos in (without having to do a bunch of selfies). We went on a Sunday, which made some of the stops have some more traffic than say, a Wednesday, but Pedro navigated all of it without us having to worry about a thing. The Portuguese restaurant was incredible. Highly recommend the grilled octopus. Coming down the coast to Cascais was very relaxing and Pedro really allowed to enjoy each of the stops will providing fun facts with fit in seamlessly with our casual conversation. It’s hard to find the words to describe our day with Pedro. Magical! We did the all inclusive tour and it was perfect for our group of six. Daniel had great perspectives helping us plan our itinerary (so glad to have his insight). The day of our tour we were transferred by private van and met Pedro to take the Tuk tuk on our adventure. We learned so much and explored Sintra (we did landmarks from outside, Quinta da Regaleira, costal views and ended in Cascais). We had a wonderful authentic Portuguese lunch. Wonderful tour with wonderful company! I am so glad we chose Yes You Deserve for our all day tuk tuk tour in Sintra. We were greeted by our guide Veras at the scheduled 9 am time and got in our own tuk tuk. We weren't expecting it to be so chilly in the summer morning but Veras was a step ahead and provided us with blankets being which we were so grateful for. She was so knowledgeable and funny. We were able to visit Quinta de regalaria which was the highlight of the tour. It makes such a huge difference being driven around instead of having to wait for the crowded buses and also allowed us to see so much in one day that we would have not been able to alone. We also loved the place she took us for lunch, a local spot, with delicious authentic Portuguese food. We had a wonderful day with Victor! He was very friendly and full of energy and explained everything to us in great detail. He went above and beyond with a wonderful lunch restaurant which had fantastic Portuguese food.  Our day ended with rain, but we fought through it in our tuk tuk and got to see the coast in two places. It was still beautiful. A very comfortable tuk tuk was the way to see Sintra! We were able to cut through some of the lines and Victor knew  exactly where to go. He was a pro! Yes, You Deserve is a great company and all of our transfers from Lisbon went perfectly. As I was planning our family of four trip to Portugal I knew we wanted to visit the Sintra mountains with it’s beautiful gardens and palaces.   Do we do a self-tour with the buses and no guide or do we spend the day with someone who knows the area better than anyone else?   Do not spend the time thinking about this…reach out to Daniel Ponce @ Yes, You Deserve! Tuk Tuk Tour in Sintra by Daniel Ponce!!  It will be an experience that you will never forget. We worked with Daniel on the sites we wanted to see…Quinta de Regaleira, Monserrate Palace and Gardens, Cabo da Roca, fabulous views of Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle…just to name a few.  He had special spots and stops along the way via his Tuk Tuk, including an amazing lunch.  The day ended in Cascais, which was absolutely beautiful.   We never ever could have done this by ourselves.  He captured us in photo’s all along the tour as well.    I made the right decision by asking Daniel to be our guide. Shout out to our fabulous tour guide Daniel Ponce from his company Yes, you deserve by Daniel Ponce who showed us around Sintra.  We toured Quinta da Regaleira and the Inverted Tower (initiation well); Palacio de Monserrate and the Pena Palace.  We stopped for a fabulous pastry and "little boy" coffee after filling our water bottles at a natural spring.  Later on we stopped again for a wonderful local lunch of chicken, rice, salad and French fries.  We learned so much and enjoyed the day.  Daniel kept the conversations lively and full of fun facts.
